Today went to audiocrib for a friend friend's gig. Watched 2 performance. The first one was not bad, they played somewhat of a pop rock and post hardcore. Nothing bad nor good about the band. Just average. Or may I say boring.
The second performance was a bit lame. They played hardcore and due to this they demanded a mosh pit. The audience was like a bunch of poseurs who mosh like gays dancing in a nudist pub. Epic gayness. The lead guitarist was a show off. Keep on playing the scales, showing that he can shred. Lol. I somewhat think he played/acted like a monkey. He acted like as thou he is a rock god with his monkey attitude and stupid scales.

Then there was the moshing part. Lol. This part is epicly lame. Why one should not mosh now. The place was damn bloody small, to many poseurs and it wasn't suitable to mosh.
After 1 or 2 songs, the lead singer demanded the audience to mosh. He was like, ' where is the mosh pit.' Me and my friends was like lol, first gig and you asking us to mosh for you. Its like a first date and asking the girl to get married.
After awhile, the mosh started by next song, i was pushing the dudes away. Reason: There is a girl and i was helping her boyfriend to push the dudes away.
It goes on throughout the session then finally it was the final song. I was like what the heck, lets mosh with these poseurs. Song started and i entered to mosh pit. Realizing that I still got my specs on, i tried to escape the mosh pit wanting to put it in my bag which my cousin was holding. As i was escaping, the power of the pit suck me back in. Trashed and scattered in the pit i fell on my butt. Realizing my specs was missing, i looked around for it. Then this dude help me back on my feet, but i was like, f*** you dude, i got a spec to find. Found it and it was broken. Dammit, there goes my $400 specky which i bought using my first pay.
Pissed off i maybe but i just kept my cool.

After that event, we went to paradiz and bought a guitar capo. Need one of those since the one i had was missing.
We then head towards Esplanade water front to watch another performance. This time it was by a Korean band name: OH! Brother. They played 60's rock and roll ala Beatles, The Wonders.
They were awesome and their stage presence was great. This is what i say great musicians, not pussy rockstars. This is what i hope to achieve with my current band and hopefully we can be great musicians and not PUSSY ROCKSTARS!
